He has taught courses on ancient and modern world history, American history, Western Civilization, and radical Islam. He holds a BA in English from the University of Michigan, an MA in European history from Wayne State University, and a PHD in religious history from the University of California, Riverside.
Dr. Walia's current research interests center on anti-religious worldviews, such as atheism, secular humanism, and progressivism. When not writing or educating the young, he enjoys walking, visiting art museums in Los Angeles, eating Korean food, and spending quality time with family.
